Joined our Practice: 15 years ago as an on call Registered Dental Hygienist for Dr. Amy Gearin's dental practice.
About Me:
- October 11th, 1965, is my birthday.
- I grew up in Utica, New York, and I loved being on the Whitesboro High School football cheerleading team.
- 1984, I enlisted in the United States Navy as a dental assistant for 6 years.
- 1996, I received my Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene degree from Suny Orange College, Middletown, New York
- 2015, I furthered my education and received my Bachelor of Science Dental Hygiene Public Health degree from College of Southern Nevada, Las Vegas, NV.
Outside the Office: I serve as a Dental Hygiene Examiner and Dental Hygiene Anesthesia Examiner for Commission on Dental Competency Assessments Board.
Fun Fact: April 1985, I was stationed on the USS Puget Sound in Gaeta, Italy and during Fleet week, a few of the crew members, including myself, got to go to Rome, Italy in front of the Vatican and be on the Today Show.
What I Love About Working Here: Dr. Amy Gearin treats ALL of us like her friend, her family, and she makes us feel like we are NOT just her employees. Which makes me feel very thankful for which in turn is why I am always willing to go above and beyond for Dr. Gearin and giving her dental patients the BEST dental standard of care every day, ALL day!
